Latvian developer of e-business solutions, Vide Infra Grupa company, has completed the development of an Internet-based system to be used by British Airways in the work with corporate clients in Eastern Europe and Mediterranean east coast.
The British airline's representative in the Baltic states, Toms Andersons, said the computer system will enable corporate officers frequently flying with British Airways to receive information about flights, prices and special offers in a more convenient and speedy manner, and also to draft their itinerary and book airplane tickets by themselves. The new system will be introduced in Latvia, Israel, Turkey, Poland, the Czech Republic and Croatia already this summer but afterwards it will also be used in other East European and Mediterranean east coast states.
Andersons said last year Vide Infra Grupa already developed and successfully implemented a similar system British Airways is using in the work with tourism agencies.
Both systems for use by British Airways are based on SiteSupra software developed by Vide Infra Grupa earlier.
